Eurofound (Cancedda, 2001) indique que les conditions de travail varient consid\u00e9rablement d&rsquo;un sous-secteur des PHS \u00e0 l&rsquo;autre, puisque certains types d&#8217;emplois et de cadres de travail offrent des conditions de travail d\u00e9centes et d&rsquo;autres pas. La Fondation souligne notamment les probl\u00e8mes suivants:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Salaires insuffisants dans les emplois li\u00e9s aux services m\u00e9nagers;<\/li>\n<li>Niveaux insuffisants de protection pour les ind\u00e9pendants dans le secteur des services m\u00e9nagers et exposition importante, d\u00e8s lors, au risque de stress physique et mental;<\/li>\n<li>Le travail \u00e0 temps partiel est tr\u00e8s fr\u00e9quent;<\/li>\n<li>Les travailleurs consid\u00e8rent le travail \u00e0 temps partiel et les faibles salaires qui y sont associ\u00e9s comme une contrainte plut\u00f4t que comme un choix;<\/li>\n<li>En g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, le travail dans les services de travaux m\u00e9nagers (en particulier les services aux personnes) est satisfaisant et gratifiant pour les travailleurs plus motiv\u00e9s;<\/li>\n<li>L&rsquo;aspect qu&rsquo;ils appr\u00e9cient le plus est la possibilit\u00e9 que leur offre ce travail de nouer des liens enrichissants, de venir en aide \u00e0 des personnes dans le besoin et d&rsquo;utiliser leur propre cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9volution future du secteur des PHS sera en grande partie d\u00e9termin\u00e9e par l&rsquo;am\u00e9lioration effective des conditions de travail, celles-ci \u00e9tant d\u00e9terminantes pour la cr\u00e9ation d&#8217;emplois dans les PHS. Des am\u00e9liorations s&rsquo;imposent en effet afin d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer l&rsquo;attrait du secteur pour les travailleurs et de renforcer leur r\u00e9tention dans le secteur.<\/p>\n<p>Le projet europ\u00e9en <a href=\"http:\/\/forquality.eu\/\">4Quality!<\/a> a effectu\u00e9 une analyse de la qualit\u00e9 de l&#8217;emploi dans les secteurs des services de soins personnels et des services m\u00e9nagers dans onze \u00c9tats membres de l&rsquo;Union (Allemagne, Autriche, Belgique, Espagne, Finlande, France, Italie, Pays-Bas, R\u00e9publique tch\u00e8que, Royaume-Uni et Su\u00e8de). Cette analyse donne un aper\u00e7u de la situation dans ces pays et \u00e9pingle les bonnes pratiques identifi\u00e9es dans le domaine des conditions de travail et du d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><div class=\"alignright\"><a
